Below are important forms to secure your participation with the 2017 Bayou Classic:
Thank you for your interest in covering the 44th Annual 2017 Bayou Classic. Please read the application in its entirety. You are submitting this application to be considered to cover the 2017 BAYOU CLASSIC from Monday, November 20, 2017 – Sunday, November 26, 2017. All outlets are limited to a total of 2 credentials per event but are not guaranteed that amount. Also, please note that you may not be approved for all requested credentials, as space is very limited.

No more credentials will be issued. We invite you to submit an application for consideration in 2018. Thank you for your interest.

The Business of Bayou Classic presents the BizTech Challenge for its second year at the 44th Annual Bayou Classic. Through the duration of the challenge, student teams will have the opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs, executives, and knowledgeable professionals from a variety of firms and organizations in the Tech field. The challenge will consist of a competition which 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners will be selected in the following categories: Digital Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, and Clean Energy. There will also be an “Open Category” for general entrepreneurial projects. From there, a finale pitch competition will determine the overall winning team and the recipient of the $10,000 prize.

Final Judging: November 24, 2017

2017 Bayou Classic Parade
80,000 Attendees flocked the streets of Downtown New Orleans to attend the 2016 Bayou Classic Parade. Flanked by WDSU who promoted the Parade Route and led by the Marines, Southern University and Grambling State University Bands, ten (10) High School Bands, NOLA Cheerleaders, Dance Groups and Sponsors marched the streets of downtown New Orleans departing from the Mercedes Benz Superdome down Canal Street through the French Quarter.
